Dance Dance Revolution

[Songs | Step Charts | Tips and Tricks]

For those who are completely lost, DDR or Dance Dance Revolution is a dancing arcade game. You step on these here panels (Up, Down, Left and Right) to the corresponding arrows on the screen! ^_^ Sounds simple eh? But here’s the evil part! You must step on the panels’ right when the blue arrows touch the gray permanent arrows. It’s a game of Rhythm, timing and Skill! Anyone can do it! First timers may have a hard time, but if you practice and take advice from other DDR players, then you'll follow through.

Grading

After each stage/song, you are graded on your performance. AAA is the highest and  E is the lowest. It is dependant on how many Perfects, or misses you've got in the stages/songs. 99 -100% Perfect deserves a AAA, 40% of perfects or Boo's deserve E's.

Dance Pads and Stages

This is a Single pad/stage that has only 4 arrows. Most Arcade versions use this format. (Up, Down, Left and right.)

This is a single pad/stage that has 6 arrows. Solo machines only (Up, Down, Left, right, U.Right, and U.Left.)

And this is what a normal versus stage looks like. Player one is on the left and player two is on the right. In Double mode, one payer maneuvers around both sides.
